PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's track and field team continues week six of its outdoor season by competing in the Penn Relays event hosted by the University of Pennsylvania on Friday and Saturday.
 
The Penn Relays took place at Franklin Field.
 
Friday & Saturday Highlights
The 4x400-meter relay team of Natalie Gentzel, Nicole Carroll, Elizabeth Shultz and Aubrey Sechrist raced into Saturday's finals for the first time in Lock Haven history with a prelim time of 3:58.17, finishing ninth overall.
 
The group went on to finish sixth with a time of 4:04.65 in the finals.
 
Gentzel and Shultz also ran well in the 4x100-meter relay and were joined by Sydney Stahl and Makayla Grace Weber to finish with a time of 51.54.
 
Next up for The Haven:
The Bald Eagles will also host the Lock Haven Qualifier and Senior Day on May 3 at 10:00 a.m. at the Glen Allison Family Track & Field Complex.
