LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Gretchen King was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division Freshman of the Year and a total of five Lock Haven women's lacrosse student-athletes were named to the All-PSAC West team, the conference office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
King marks the second straight PSAC Freshman of the Year for the Bald Eagles, after
Makayla Kelly brought home the honor in 2024.
King was also named to the All-PSAC First Team as the top goalkeeper in the Western Division.

Mackenna Brown were named to the All-PSAC West Second Team. The Bald Eagles' four Second Team All-Conference selections were the most in the PSAC West.

Lindsay Reese, the quintet helped lead the Bald Eagles to the PSAC postseason tournament for the second straight season. Lock Haven finished the 2025 regular season 9-7 overall and 6-4 in the West to earn a trip to the conference quarterfinals. The Haven will take on No. 16 Seton Hill on the road this afternoon.
As a freshman, King had one of the best goalkeeping seasons in program history, which was rewarded with a First Team All-PSAC selection. King ranks second in the entire conference in save percentage (.501), while her 173 saves moved the rookie to third all-time in program history for saves in a season. In The Haven's 12-11 victory over IUP, where every save was crucial, King made 22 saves (6th all-time), becoming the first Bald Eagle keeper to do so in 22 years. King made double digit saves in nine contests, including 16 or more in four games.
Gunnip earned her second straight all-conference selection, after earning First Team honors in 2024. Gunnip led the program in points (61) and her 48 goals places her ninth overall in the conference. She scored four or more goals in six games, where the Bald Eagles went 5-1. The junior also enters Tuesday with a team-best 52 draw controls. Gunnip also added 13 assists, 17 ground balls and nine caused turnovers.
Collins was named to the Second Team as a midfielder, marking the first selection of her career. As a midfielder, Collins ranks second in the conference in ground balls per game (3.56) and third in caused turnovers per game (2.44). She led the team in caused turnovers in 2025 with 39. In the victory over Frostburg State, Collins caused six turnovers and secured five groundballs. Collins also has 31 points this season (21 goals, 10 assists). She also secured five or more ground balls in four games.
Brown was named an all-conference defender for the second straight season, after landing on the First Team in 2024. Brown ranks second, behind Collins, in caused turnovers (28) and ground balls (31). Brown caused a season-high five turnovers against Seton Hill and scored the first goal of her career against Gannon.
Baskot earned her second straight All-PSAC West Second Team honor in the midfield. As one of the most well-rounded players in the conference, the senior ended the regular season with 20 goals, 13 assists, 32 ground balls, 39 draw controls and 13 caused turnovers. Baskot erupted for five goals in the Bald Eagles 18-10 victory over Gannon and scooped up a season-high five ground balls in the 11-10 victory over IUP.
