Women’s Track & Field competes at the Muhlenberg Invitational

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's track and field team returned to action for week three of its outdoor season, competing in the Muhlenberg Invitational hosted by Muhlenberg on Saturday.

The Muhlenberg Invitational took place at Scotty Wood Stadium.

Track Highlights

Ashleigh Aukerman led the Bald Eagles as she competed in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 14:55.21.

In the 200-meter dash, Maja Halasz finished with a time of 29.03. Halasz also competed with Heather Leskovansky in the 100-meter dash, finishing with times of 13.93 and 14.16.

Madalyn Farrer, Ella Bray, Paige Daugherty, Megan Rosahac and Stefany Steckel all ran in the 800-meter and the 1500-meter race. Daugherty and Rosahac posted personal best times in the 1500-meter with times of 5:39.10 and 5:43.94.

 

Field Highlights

Leskovansky also competed in the pole vault event, achieving a height of 8-00.00.

Madalyn Smith threw the shot put, throwing a distance of 29-07.25.

Next up for The Haven:

The Bald Eagles will travel to Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, on Thursday and Friday, April 10-11, to compete in the two-day Susquehanna Outdoor Multi hosted by Susquehanna University.
