SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's track & field team competed on the final day of the 2025 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championship in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, on Saturday. The day was highlighted by one champion and several medalists and podium finishers.
The three-day event concluded today at Slippery Rock's William C. Lennox Track.

Lock Haven finished the championship event with 28 points team points.
Medal and Podium Finishes
Nicole Carroll 1st (800m),
Aubrey Sechrist 3rd (800m),
Gwen Lloyd 6th (5000m),

Track Highlights
Leading the way on the track, was the PSAC Champion in the 800-meter,
Nicole Carroll. Carroll raced to gold with a time of 2:14.83, marking the first time a Lock Haven athlete has won the 800-meter since 2000. Also, in the 800-meter event,
Aubrey Sechrist achieved a bronze medal, finishing with a time of 2:16.18. They both earned All-PSAC honors with their finishes.
Distance runner
Gwen Lloyd reached the podium in the 5000-meter, finishing in sixth-place with a time of 18:36.72.
After standing on the podium in the high jump,
Samantha Trench ran to an eighth-place finish, placing her on the podium with a time of 15.23.
The team of
Natalie Gentzel,
Claire Hauser,
Elizabeth Shultz and Carroll ran to a podium finish with a time of 4:00.35, finishing eighth.
Jenna Smith ran the 1500-meter, finishing with a time of 5:06.02.
Field Highlights
Maria Puglia made it to the finals of the javelin throw and finished eighth, landing on the podium, with a throw of 130-2.
In the shot put,
Clarissa Davis made it into the finals and finished with a ninth-place throw of 40-8.75.

The NCAA Division II Track and Field Championships will take place at the CSU Pueblo ThunderBowl in Pueblo, Colorado, hosted by Colorado State University–Pueblo. Athletes who qualify for the event will be release at GoLHU.com.
