LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's track and field team hosted the Lock Haven Qualifier for its final regular season meet on Saturday.
 
The Lock Haven Qualifier took place at Glen Allison Family Track & Field Complex.
 
Women's track & field honored 11 seniors, Paige Daugherty, Maja Halasz, Claire Hauser, Krista Jones, Gwen Lloyd, Kiersten Lloyd, Megan Mengel, Megan Rosahac, Aubrey Sechrist, Jenna Smith and Sydney Stahl
 
PSAC Qualifying Marks
Maria Puglia (Javelin Throw), Clarissa Davis (Shot Put), Claire Hause (800m), Elizabeth Shultz (800m), Makayla Grace Weber (400mH), Natalie Gentzel (400mH), Mallory Eck (Discus Throw), Kaydence Strange (3000m Steeplechase) and Alyssa VanGorder (Hammer Throw)
 
Track Highlights
Lock Haven swept the top-three finishes in the mile with Aubrey Sechrist finishing first with a time of 5:14.92, which is fourth best in Lock Haven history, Jenna Lynn Smith finishing second with a time of 5:29.36 and Kiersten Lloyd finishing third with a time of 5:33.08.
 
Lillian Bradley won the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.851, with Havanna Gordon finishing with a close second-place with a time of 12.860.
 
Gordon won the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.21 with Sydney Stahl finishing fourth with a time of 28.06.
 
Makayla Grace Weber and Kelci Carle went one-two in the 100-meter hurdles with times of 16.50 and 17.38.
 
Weber also ran in the 400-meter hurdles where she finished second with a PSAC time of 1:04.49 with her teammate Natalie Gentzel finishing third with a PSAC time 1:04.80.
 
In the 800-meter, Claire Hause finished first with a PSAC time of 2:18.46 and Elizabeth Shultz finished second with a PSAC time of 2:19.26.
 
Finishing fourth in the 100-meter was Briana Thomas with a time of 13.48 and finishing fifth was Julia Tavares with a time of 14.57.
 
Kaydence Strange finished third in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a PSAC time of 12:00.45.
 
Adra Schell and Krista Jones ran the 5000-meter and finished second and third with times of 20:25.90 and 20:30.52.
 
In the 10000-meter, Paige Watson ran for a time of 45:34.77.
 
The relay squad "A" finished second in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 49.83.
 
The shuttle hurdles relay team ran for a time of 1:11.16 setting a new school record.
 
Lock Haven's 4x400-meter relay squad finished first with a time of 4:45.46.
 
Two 4x800-meter squads raced with squad "A" finish with a time of 9:37.02, putting them fifth in Lock Haven program history, and squad "B" finishing with a time of 11:30.46.
 
Field Highlights
Maria Puglia threw for a PSAC mark of 133-03 finishing second in the javelin throw and fourth in Lock Haven program history. Mallory Eck and Kiersten Lloyd cracked the top five with throws of 106-07 and 99-08.
 
Eck finished second in the discus throw with a PSAC throw of 124-08.
 
Clarissa Davis threw in the shot put finishing second with a PSAC throw of 40-03.50 with Eck also threw in the shot put finishing fourth with a throw of 37-01.75.
 
Winning the hammer throw was Alyssa VanGorder with a PSAC throw of 154-04 with Laurie Thompson placing fourth with a throw of 128-07.
 
Finishing second in the pole vault was Heather Leskovansky reaching a distance of 8-06.25.
 
Next up for The Haven:
The Bald Eagles will travel to compete in the PSAC Championships hosted by Slippery Rock University on Thursday through Saturday, May 8-10.
