Podium finishes and finals qualifiers highlights Women’s Track & Field on Day 2 of the PSAC Championship

The Bald Eagles competed on day two of the 2025 PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's track & field team competed on day two of the 2025 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championship in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, on Friday.
 
The three-day event will continue on Saturday, May 10, at Slippery Rock's William C. Lennox Track. PSAC Championship Central Homepage.
 
Medal and Podium Finishes
Samantha Trench 7th (High Jump)
 
Track Highlights
Samantha Trench ran for a time of 15.07 in the 100-meter hurdles, tying her season best and tying the fifth quickest time in Lock Haven history, which put her into tomorrow's finals. Kelci Carle also ran the 100-meter hurdles and finished with a time of 16.82.
 
Both Nicole Carroll and Aubrey Sechrist qualified for tomorrow's finals in the 800-meter, finishing first and third with times of 2:17.49 and 2:18.01, respectively.
 
The squad of Lillian Bradley, Makayla Grace Weber, Sydney Stahl and Havanna Gordon ran a time of 50.95 in the 4x100-meter relay.
 
Gordon and Bradley both ran in the 100-meter dash, finishing with times of 12.66 and 12.77, respectively.
 
The 400-meter hurdles were ran by Weber, (1:05.15) and Natalie Gentzel (1:06.10).
 
In the 3000-meter steeplechase, Kiersten Lloyd ran for a time of 11:53.50, and Kaydence Strange ran for a time of 11:56.86.
 
Field Highlights
In the high jump event, Samantha Trench reached the podium by achieving a height of 5-5.25. Regan Irons in the same event reached a height of 5-1.25.

Mallory Eck threw in the discus throw for a distance of 117-7.
