LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced their 2024-25 Team Academic Awards and the Lock Haven volleyball team was one of a record-breaking 1,450 collegiate and high school teams recognized.  
 
The award, initiated in the 1992–93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale.
 
Recently the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released the team GPA awards and the women's volleyball team was among The Haven's leaders. To view the release, click here.
 
The Bald Eagles are set to open their 2025 season by competing at the Hall of Fame City Challenge in North Canton, Ohio with matches against Saginaw Valley, Walsh and Lake Erie.
