RESULTS LINK – Gulden Invite
SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's track and field team traveled to Bucknell this weekend to attend the Gulden Invite, hosted by Bucknell.
The Bald Eagles returned to Bucknell for the second time this season after competing in the Riverhawk Invite, as well as the Nittany Lion Open last weekend.
The afternoon was highlighted by multiple personal best efforts and a PSAC qualifying mark by Laurie Thompson.
Gulden Invite Highlights:
· Laurie Thompson finished seventh in the weight throw, securing a PSAC mark (14.25).
· Paige Watson secured a personal-best time in the 3000m (11:18.15).
· Kristen Schellberg (5:43.22) and Emily Black (5:54.04) achieved personal bests in the one mile.
· Alannah Irwin gained a personal best, 2:44.93, in the 800m.
· Clarissa Davis finished just outside the top-five in the shot put with a heave of 12.03.
· Elizabeth Shultz (1:01.55) finished 16th in a deep field in the 400m.
· Khloe Cunningham finished with her personal best mark in the 1000m (3:36.00).
Next up for The Haven:
The Bald Eagles return to competition on Saturday, Jan. 30, and will travel to Bucknell again for the Bison Open, Penn State for the Penn State National, or Youngstown, Ohio, for the Youngstown Mid-Major.
