GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The Lock Haven baseball team opened the highly anticipated 2026 season today (Friday, Feb. 20) with a pair of games at Glenville State University in Glenville, West Virginia. 
 
The host Pioneers swept the doubleheader, 9-4 and 4-3. 
 
Today marked the first two games in a four-game weekend series.
 
The two teams will be right back in action tomorrow (Saturday, Feb. 21). Game one Saturday is set for a noon start.
