RESULTS LINK – PSU Tune-Up, Marc Deneault Invitational
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's indoor track and field team opened the weekend by traveling to University Park to compete in the Penn State Tune-Up on Friday, before heading to Ithica, New York for the Marc Deneault Invitational on Saturday at Cornell.
The Bald Eagles turned in a number of impressive marks at Penn State to headline the weekend.
Saturday's action at Cornell officially ended the regular season.
Penn State Tune-Up Highlights:
- Clarissa Davis scored a PSAC mark for her throw of 43-00.25 in the shotput. The impressive throw established a school record for The Haven.
- Nicole Carroll notched a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying mark in the 800m with a time of 2:21.00.
- Samantha Trench qualified for PSAC Championships in the 60mH (9.36). Trench also reached a PSAC mark in the high jump (5-03.0).
- Reagan Irons achieved a PSAC mark in the high jump (5-03.0).
- Laurie Thompson notched a qualifying mark (47-01.00) in the weight throw.
Marc Deneault Invitational Highlights:
- The Haven had a number of athletes compete at the Marc Deneault, gearing up in preparation for the PSAC Championships next week.
Next up for The Haven:
The Bald Eagles now set their focus to the postseason and will return to action next Saturday (Feb. 28) to compete in PSAC Championships at Lehigh University.
