Women’s Track & Field competes in Day 1 2025-26 PSAC Indoor Track & Field Championships

Strong Distance Medley performance highlights Lock Haven’s Day 1 of the PSAC Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships

PSAC CHAMPIONSHIPS (DAY 1)

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's indoor track & field team sent nine women to compete on day one of the 2025-26 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships at Lehigh University on Saturday (Feb. 28).

Headlining the day for the Bald Eagles was the Distance Medley team of Nicole Carroll, Natalie Gentzel, Elizabeth Shultz and Kaydence Strange. The quartet earned a fourth-place finish with a time of 12:18.06. It was the third-best Distance Medley time in Lock Haven Women's Indoor Track & Field history.

Samantha Trench qualified for Sunday's (March 1) 60m hurdles finals. Trench completed the event in 9.15. Makayla Grace Weber finished 21st in the same event with a 9.57 finish.

Alexanne Fite took 13th place in the 400m by finishing in 1:00.46.

Laurie Thompson took 15th in the Shot Put with a throw of 44-5.5 (13.55m).

Lillian Bradley rounded the Bald Eagle competitors by finishing 18th in the 60m and clocking in at 8.21.

Next up for The Haven:
The Bald Eagles will return for Day 2 of the PSAC Championships at Lehigh University on Sunday (Mar. 2).
