FULL RESULTS
LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's track & field team had a strong showing at the Bison Outdoor Classic on Saturday (April 11) and Sunday (April 12).
Olivia Spotts was remarkable in the Javelin Throw. The freshman reached a mark of 145-11 (44.48m). The mark cleared an NCAA provisional and Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship qualifier. The throw puts Spotts in second place in Lock Haven event history.
Maria Puglia also impressed in the Javelin Throw by reaching a PSAC qualifying mark of 134-5 (40.97m).
Clarissa Davis earned an outdoor personal record in the Shot Put. Davis reached a mark of 41-11 (12.78m) that puts her eighth in the conference ranks.
Nicole Carroll had a strong 800m finish. She ran a 12:16.65 and earned a PSAC qualifying time.
Lillian Bradley earned a PSAC qualifier in the 100m by finishing in 12.42.
Kelci Carle and
Makayla Grace Weber both earned PSAC qualifying times in the 400m Hurdles. Carle finished in 1:05.10 and Weber crossed the finish line in 1:05.13.
Elizabeth Shultz came close to a PSAC qualifier in the 400m by finishing in 59.67 and
Alyssa VanGorder was near a championship qualifier in the Hammer Throw as she reached a mark of 146-9 (44.74m).
