Schans earns Second Team All-America honors at NCAA Outdoor Championships

Josiah Schans of the Lock Haven men’s track & field team earned Second Team All-America honors at the 2026 NCAA DII Outdoor Championships

EMPORIA, Kan. – Josiah Schans of the Lock Haven men's outdoor track and field team competed today (Friday, May 22) at the 2026 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships, held at Francis G. Welch Stadium in Emporia, Kansas.

Schans earned Second Team All-America honors with his performance in the 110m hurdle prelims.

Schans finished in 16^th place, crossing the finish line in 14.60 seconds.

Schans finished his junior outdoor season as the Bald Eagle event record holder with a mark of 14.03 and a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Champion.
