RIVER HAWK INVITE

UNIVERSITY PARK/SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's track and field team opened the New Year by sending athletes to the Nittany Lion Open (Penn State) and River Hawk Invite (Susquehanna) on Saturday, Jan. 17.

The Bald Eagles returned to competition for the first time since Dec. 6 (Bison Open & Multi), which kicked off the 2025-26 indoor track and field season.
 

Nittany Lion Open Highlights:

- Samantha Trench timed in at 9.24 (PSAC Q) in the 60m Hurdles first round
 

Top-Five Lock Haven Finishers in the River Hawk Invite:

- Paige Watson finished 2^nd in the 3000m, finishing in 11:42.15.

- Clarissa Davis finished 3^rd in the Shot Put with a 11.50

- Alannah Irwin finished 5^th in the 60m Hurdles, finishing in 10.25.

- Irwin also finished 4^th in the 400m with a 1:07.18

- Madison Bair finished 5^th in the 400m with a 1:07.89.

- Adra Schell finished 5^th in the 3000m with a 12:05.59.

- Khloe Cunningham, Madison Bair, Madalyn Farrer and Emily Black finished 5^th in the 4x400. The Bald Eagles finished in 4:45.66
 

Next up for The Haven:

The Bald Eagles return to competition on Saturday, Jan. 24 and will travel to Bucknell to compete in the Gulden Invite.
