PSAC Men's Soccer
 
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – After a 2-0 week, the Lock Haven men's soccer team swept the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division Athlete of the Week Awards, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon (Sept. 29). Camden Marquette was the award winner on offense, while Ethan Beck brought home the defensive honor.
 
As a team, The Haven finished the week 2-0 with victories over Daemen (3-1) and East Stroudsburg (2-0). The Bald Eagles improved to 4-3-1 on the season heading into their PSAC West opener on Wednesday, Oct. first at Slippery Rock (4 p.m.).
 
On Tuesday, Marquette had a foot in every goal in the 3-1 victory over Daemen after finding the back of the net twice and dishing out an assist. His five points in the game are the second most in the entire conference this season.
 
In the victory over ESU on Saturday, Beck made three saves and recorded his third clean sheet of the season to pick up his third victory in net. The Defensive Athlete of the Week is the second of the season for Beck.
